Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TheUnYou (the "Service"). By registering for an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a startup, company, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Registration is public, but every new account starts in a pending state and requires approval by a superadmin before it can sign in. We may reject or revoke access to any account at our discretion, including for suspected misuse, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Project workspaces may contain meeting minutes, expenditures, investor and cap table information, tasks, comments, uploaded files (such as pitch decks), and other content you or your teammates choose to add ("Project Content"). You retain ownership of your Project Content. You're solely responsible for its accuracy and for having the right to share it with the teammates you invite.

A project admin controls who can access a project and may choose to make a project's Resources tab publicly accessible via a shareable link, optionally behind a share password. You are responsible for what you choose to share publicly.

You agree not to use the Service to upload unlawful content, infringe on intellectual property or privacy rights, distribute malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or projects, or interfere with the Service's normal operation (including automated scraping or attempts to bypass rate limits and access controls).

We aim to keep the Service available but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and may update these Terms from time to time — continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time; contact a superadmin on your project to request account or data removal.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheUnYou and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or business opportunity.
